At ELVORI Ceylon Gem & Jewelry, every gemstone and jewelry piece is carefully inspected before it is offered for sale. Due to the unique nature, rarity, and value of natural gemstones, we maintain the following Refund & Return Policy.

All Sales Are Final

All purchases made through ELVORI are considered final.

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect selection by the customer
  • Personal preference
  • Natural variations in gemstones
  • Size, color, or appearance expectations after purchase

Each natural gemstone is unique, and variations in color, inclusions, brilliance, shape, and weight are natural characteristics—not defects.

In-Store Purchases

All in-store, showroom, and face-to-face purchases are final.

Customers are encouraged to carefully inspect and verify the gemstone or jewelry before completing the purchase. Once the sale is completed, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted, except where required by applicable law.

Online Orders

Please review all product descriptions, specifications, photographs, and certification details before placing an order.

Once an online order has been confirmed and shipped, it cannot be cancelled or returned simply because of a change of mind or personal preference.


Policy Exceptions

A refund or replacement may only be considered if:

  • You receive the wrong product.
  • The item arrives damaged during transit.
  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect.
  • The wrong item was shipped due to our error.

✦ Any issue must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the order, together with clear photographs and your order number.

ELVORI reserves the right to inspect and verify all claims before approving any resolution.

Natural Gemstone Characteristics

Natural gemstones are created by nature and may contain:

  • Natural inclusions
  • Slight color variations
  • Minor differences in shape
  • Natural growth features

These characteristics confirm the individuality and authenticity of each gemstone and are not considered defects.

Certification

Where applicable, gemstones are accompanied by certificates issued by recognized gemological laboratories.

Certification confirms the gemstone's identity and characteristics at the time of examination.

Order Cancellation

Orders may only be cancelled before processing begins.

Once an order has been prepared for shipment or dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

*Custom-made or personalized jewelry orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.


Shipping Damage Protocols

If your package arrives damaged, please follow these steps immediately:

  1. Contact ELVORI within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide photographs of the packaging and product.
  3. Retain all original packaging until the claim has been reviewed.

International & Legal Terms

International Orders

Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, taxes, or local charges imposed by their destination country. ELVORI is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or shipping carriers.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ELVORI reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution for any approved claim, including repair, replacement, store credit, or refund where applicable.
